Telehealth Practices

As a result of the current times, I have transitioned into a Telehealth therapist and I am conducting services via HIPPA-compliant teletherapy.  Teletherapy services include video or phone sessions.

Insurance/Out of Network

I do accept Aetna insurance for Texas residents ONLY. I work with the Headway platform, which verifies your Insurance coverage & copay, before we begin our Psychotherapy sessions. Otherwise, I am out of network. I am happy to provide a superbill to submit to your insurance; however I cannot guarantee that your insurance provider will reimburse our sessions.

Sessions and Fees

We will have an initial phone consultation and then we will choose a day and time for our first session. During our sessions, I encourage you to ask questions so we can work together as effectively as possible.

In order to cultivate and maintain a therapeutic relationship, it is best to meet at least once a week. Depending on your needs and current circumstances, we may decide to increase the sessions per week.

Individual Sessions $150 (50 minutes)

EMDR Sessions Only $180 (50 minutes)

Couples Sessions $200 (60 minutes)

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
